Google SafeSearch

Google has just launched SafeSearch – a new feature that allows you to filter sexually explicit web sites and images from your search results.

Though not 100% accurate, SafeSearch is able to help you keep adult content out of your search results and avoid such content to be seen (if you prefer not to see) or stumble across by your children.

To use SafeSearch lock, you need to go to the “Search Settings” page on Google.

When you lock SafeSearch, two things will change. First, you need to enter your password to change the setting and second, the Google search results page will be visibly different to indicate that SafeSearch is locked.
