Google Stops Censoring Search Results in China
It’s official… Google has stopped censoring its search services (Google Search, Google News, and Google Images) on Google.cn.
Users visiting Google.cn are now being redirected to Google.com.hk, where searches in simplified Chinese are uncensored and are specifically designed for users in mainland China and delivered via servers in Hong Kong.
Users in Hong Kong will continue to receive their existing uncensored, traditional Chinese service, also from Google.com.hk.
Other than Google search services, wider business operations such as R&D work and sales presence will be maintained in China.
