More Quality Sites with Google Search

Singapore SEO Specialist | March 1st, 2011 No comments

With effect Feb 24 2011, Google has launched a big algorithmic improvement to its search engine ranking and the changes have noticeably impacted big percentage of the search queries.

Google’s goal is very simple, that is, to give people the most relevant answers to their queries as quickly and relevant as possible.

The latest update has been designed to reduce rankings for low-quality sites (sites which are of low-value to users) which includes websites with duplicate content (content copied from other websites) or sites that are just not very useful.

At the same time, high-quality sites will be awarded with better rankings for their effort in providing original content and information such as research, in-depth reports, thoughtful analysis etc.

Google’s latest changes in algorithm have lowered the search rankings of many websites (that the company said offer little useful information) that previously ranked highly in searches for certain keywords on Google.
