Google has just launched two-factor authentication!
What is two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication (also known as 2-step verification) relies on something you know (eg. password) and something you have (eg. cell phone).
By using the authentication, crackers have a harder time try getting into your account because even if they figure out your password, they still only have half of what they need.
Why everyone with Google account should enable it?
Account hijacking is no joke. Two-factor authentication would provide you – the user, with a much higher level of protection.
Therefore, everyone with a Google account should enable it to ensure more protection.
