Place Pages for Google Maps
A new feature known as Place Pages is now available on Google Map.
A Place Page is a webpage for every place in the world, organizing all the relevant information about it. By every place, we really mean *every* place — there are Place Pages for businesses, points of interest, transit stations, neighborhoods, landmarks and cities all over the world.
There are two ways you can get to a Place Page on Google Map:
1. Clicking on “more info” in search results
2. Clicking “more info” in the mini-bubble
Place Page will display an entire page with details such as photos, videos, a Street View preview, nearby transit, reviews and related websites.
To handle missing places that are not on the map, Google allows business owner to add or update details through the Local Business Center. For non-business owner, you can add information through the community edits or Google Map Maker.
